Club Officials for 2016

I hope everybody is looking forward to an exciting year at Leyland Golf Club and I am both pleased and feel honoured, to have been given the opportunity to be your Captain for 2016. I hope that all of you as members, your guests and our visitors, enjoy the use of our excellent facilities throughout the golfing year.

We have one of the best clubhouses in the county with a uniquely friendly and welcoming atmosphere and I urge everybody to come and enjoy the hospitality that is on offer every day of the week, we also have a varied social calendar planned for 2016 and hope to see many of you supporting the organised party evenings.

Our course remains in supreme condition and my thanks go to Scott and the team for their continued commitment to year on year improvements.

My hopes for the coming year are that everybody who comes to play our course leaves with a smile, having had a super golfing experience, win or lose.

Leyland Golf Club has always had a magnificent record for fundraising, Lady Captain and myself have chosen North West Air Ambulance (NWAA) as our charity this year - I hope you will support this worthy charity when and where you can.

I would like to wish Lady Captain, Mr President and our Junior Captain good luck for the forthcoming year and I very much look forward to working alongside them.

Finally, may I take this opportunity to wish everyone, along with all the teams representing our club, a successful, enjoyable and prosperous 2016.

It is indeed an honour to have been chosen to represent Leyland Golf Club as your Lady Captain for 2016 and I sincerely thank the Past Lady Captains for this wonderful opportunity. I am looking forward to a memorable year supporting all sections of the club alongside Mr Captain. Together we have chosen North West Air Ambulance as our joint charity and feel proud to be giving a ‘Helping Hand’. I hope with your generosity we will provide vital funds needed for this essential life saving service through a successful and eventful fund raising year. Lady Captain 2016

I am honoured and extremely proud to be invited as President of Leyland Golf Club for 2016.

I have been a member of Leyland Golf Club for 35 years, serving on Council and also as your Club Chairman.

It gives me pleasure to serve you the Members and represent the Club whilst working with and supporting the Captain, Lady Captain and Junior Captain throughout 2016 and I look forward to a very memorable year.

Thank you for all your good wishes and I would like to wish all members and their families a very happy and healthy 2016.

President 2016

It is a great honour to be the 2016 Junior Captain and I am looking forward to the year ahead.  We have a fantastic junior section and a successful, well bonded junior team, which has my full support.  I personally take my own golf very seriously as it is my chosen career path, but I also appreciate that for many, golf is simply just a hobby, with the game being played solely for enjoyment and fun.  I will endeavour to guide and nurture the younger juniors and also help to organise some fun events during the year making the season as enjoyable as possible for our junior golfers.  If I can be of any help to any junior member please do not hesitate to contact me.  Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish the 2016 Captain, Lady Captain, President and golf club Members,  good luck and a happy year of golfing at Leyland Golf Club.
